Copper Cathodes Gold Icon

Copper cathodes are high-purity sheets of copper that are a key raw material in manufacturing and industrial applications. With a purity level of 99.99%, they are used in electrical wiring, power transmission, construction, and electronic products due to copper’s excellent conductivity and durability.

Mining Procedures at CMWS At Communauté Minière de Walikale et Sangara (CMWS), the extraction and production of copper cathodes follow a rigorous process to ensure quality and sustainability:

Exploration and Extraction: Conducting geological surveys to locate copper deposits and extracting ore using environmentally responsible methods.

Crushing and Processing: The ore is crushed, ground, and processed to separate copper from other minerals.

Smelting and Refining: Extracted copper is smelted and electrolytically refined to produce pure copper cathodes.

Quality Assurance: Each batch undergoes strict quality control to meet international standards for purity and performance.

Sustainability Focus: We integrate sustainable practices, respect local communities, and comply with environmental regulations at every stage of the process.
